Changing regulations. Outdated technology. Broken systems. At V&K, we’ve seen it all when it comes to wastewater management. Our engineers are dedicated to creating effective solutions no matter your community’s situation.
Regardless of its size, every system has different needs for wastewater management. Both EPA and DNR regulations are continually changing, and it can be difficult to stay current and compliant. At V&K, we have decades of experience upgrading wastewater systems, extending them, or altogether replacing them—and we have more than 50 staff dedicated solely to this purpose. In other words, we approach projects backed by the experience and expertise of knowing what it takes to make wastewater systems work.
Our team is committed to ongoing education. We maintain close relationships with State DNRs, attend presentations and conferences, and continually monitor for new wastewater regulations. We’ll come to the table with a deep understanding of sewer sizes and materials, lift stations, treatment systems, permitting, biosolid handling, and much more. We can also help you track down funding for new systems from the State Revolving Fund, Community Development Block Grant, and USDA Rural Development.
